Music Together Policies
All registration is on a first-come first-serve basis.
Payment in full is required to reserve your spot in the class.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds and credits are subject to a $25 cancellation fee.
A full refund less the cancellation fee will be issued up to 7 days before the class starts.
A refund request 1-7 days before class starts is subject to a $75 administration fee.
After and including the first day of class, no refund will be issued. Credits towards future sessions may be issued in exceptional circumstances.
Any credits granted are good for one year and are not transferable.
Non-attendance does not constitute a withdrawal and all fees are forfeited if Music Interchange has not been informed of your withdrawal before classes start. If circumstances necessitate withdrawal from class, please contact us.
CANCELLED CLASSES
Any class may be cancelled at the start of the semester if there is insufficient registration to provide a meaningful Music Together class experience. We will do our best to find a convenient alternative class. If nothing is suitable we will provide a full refund.
Music Interchange reserves the right to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, illness, studio issues, etc). If a class is cancelled you will be contacted by email and/or phone. We will do our best to offer a replacement class if scheduling permits but we do not guarantee that one will be available. No refunds will be given, only credits towards the next semester.
MAKE-UP CLASSES
No refunds or credits will be granted for missed classes. Make-up classes are a bonus and only offered if space is available in another class. Make-up classes must be scheduled within the session as they are non-transferable to future sessions. Please contact us to schedule your make-up.
UNREGISTERED SIBLINGS
Children who are not registered for the program do not have permission to join the class. Please contact us in advance if you wish to bring another child with you to 1 or 2 classes throughout the session.
COVID SAFETY PLAN
1. Weekly Self-Assessments
2. Props
You are welcome to bring your own shakers, sticks or scarves – one set for each participant.
Props will also be available at the class, following these disinfection procedures.
Props will be disinfected before each class and after each class with hospital-grade Benefect Decon 30 – a non-chemical disinfectant for hard surfaces accepted under Health Canada’s COVID-10 Interim Measure. We have chosen this product because it use a food-grade plant extract Thymol as it's active ingredient.
Mary will use hand sanitizer before handing out props and will minimize physical contact with the props. You may also bring wipes to use on the props when they are handed out.
All props, whether or not a child has put them in their mouth, will be disinfected weekly. Each class will have a different batch of props (ex. props from 10am class will not be reused that day).
3. Physical Contact
Households will be positioned 6 feet away from each other. Hugs, hand-shaking, high-fives and all physical contact, where possible, will be avoided between households. While we recognize it will not be possible to keep children apart all of the time, we will try to minimize contact between children.
