Mission:

The mission of Music Interchange - Échange Musical is to promote a culture of accessible participatory music-making through direct programming, collaborations, partnerships and advocacy.   The core belief is that everyone – regardless of age, or abilities – is capable of participating in and creating music.  

Aims:

•  The overall aim of Music Interchange- Échange Musical is to offer group music programming where participants are CONNECTED, CONFIDENT, CURIOUS and CAREFREE. 
• With a community minded focus, participants experience belonging and CONNECTION, in a sharing, supportive environment.
• Musical CONFIDENCE, self-esteem and skill-development will increase while hesitation and inhibition lessens. 
• CURIOSITY will be encouraged through exploration, experimentation and improvisation leading to discovery and inspiration. 
• ​The mood will be CAREFREE, lighthearted, play-centered enjoyment and celebration of arts, cultures, and peoples​
